Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy
graphics from the BBC 1981 TV series

A3 and 7"x5" digital prints from multi-exposed 35mm film taken in 1981 are available via the menu on the left. Some prints are reconstructed using scans from original artwork. The selection of prints available will be gradually expanded to offer more size options and to include some based on scans of original artwork sold on eBay.

Also on the left you can find a bit of background info in the making of, view VHS footage shot in 1980 both in the Pearce studio and on set at the BBC, a bit about the individual members of the team, read previous mailings and join the H2G2 mailing list.

You can step through the graphics developed for the BBC Radio4 web game (without actually playing) and check out if there is anything being listed on eBay.

External links offers access to the BBC Radio4 web game, the BBC Cult website gallery, the BBC TV H2G2 series content on Youtube, a text interview with Nicolas Botti, a Youtube video interview made by Japanese point of sale DVD company BTTV, another interview for the Retro-Spective Youtube Channel and a couple of Youtube pieces featuring my old mate and H2G2 Guru Kevin Davies. There are also links to Nik Horne, who offers T-shirts, phone cases, etc and to Mike Berry, who has mugs and mouse mats. These 2 guys at least have the courtesy to include a credit for the work and a miniscule %age of their tiny share.
