Dear All -

I hope you all had an enjoyable Festive break with Family and Friends and are now well settled into 2025 with renewed vigour. In addition to wishing you well this is really just a note to bring you up to date with a summary of the remaining artwork.

I've found that there are some very large chunks of stuff that I really don't think anyone would be interested in - masses of both Rotring pen on clear cel and reversed-out photoliths of animating 3D grids and rotating rectangles and circles for the Pan- Dimensional Beings sequences - mounds of cels and photoliths of large lozenge shapes which were done to lay over the live action of the Shooty and Bang-bang scene with our heroes ducking behind shelter as they were attacked by bolts of Laser energy.

I've also put to one side a large pile of cels and photoliths of Dolphin water splashes. At some time in the relatively recent past a young lady expressed interest in getting hold of a wadge of splashes for a staircase feature but I'm afraid I'm now unable to find that email. Please get in touch if you're still interested. If anyone else would like splashes to be made available - or any of the above stuff that I am setting to one side for the moment - please get in touch and if I'm wrong it can be revisited. Otherwise it will all no doubt end up in Kevin's loft. The joists might need strengthening.

The rest of it ...

Some artefacts like a couple of storyboards and 9 dope sheets (including Babel Parts 1 & 2), artwork for Space is Big, Milliways, Atom bomb animation, Improbability explosion FX, Trillian's turning 2s and swirling numbers, Rocket and Shield animation, Space Battle (Space Invaders type with Dog etc, Magrathea, Heart of Gold control deck display screens (missiles converging, Missiles to Whales & Petunias, Galactic charts), Oh No Not Again, Rich-poor graph, phone and phone number, Ford Prefect's Teaser Earth approach, Glossary roughs and keys and artwork, and various random bits and pieces.

There is also a box of Disaster Area. This was all done by John Percy. He has asked if I can include this at some point and we will sort out some kind of percentage share arrangement.

The new website has an expanded eBay page where there are details and photos of each listing. This will continue to gradually also become an archive of everything that has been auctioned. Visiting this page is probably the quickest and easiest way to regularly keep up with what's listed -

There are 3 live items on there at the moment and I will be adding regularly. Once there is a flow established I intend to turn my attention to expanding what is on offer as digital prints including some that include images from the auctioned items. That will take a while and I will catch up again when those items begin to be added.

Very best wishes to you All -

Rod
