1 - Pencil layout drawing by Rod Lord on 305 x 255 mm animation key paper.
2 - Photolith film with clear shapes of weapons in solid black. This was made by a contact photo exposure from an assembly of positive photolith pieces Sellotaped onto animation cell (see AW_031), which was made from Rotring pen drawings by Rod Lord on animation cell and painted solid black on the back (see AW_031). This piece was the final artwork used with a colour lighting gel for a back lit rostrum camera exposure run. 3 - Photolith film of Arthur Dent with clear lines in solid black Sellotaped onto 330 x 270 mm clear animation cell. This was made by a contact photo exposure from a Rotring pen drawing by Rod Lord on animation cell (see AW_031). This piece was the final artwork used with a colour lighting gel for a back lit rostrum camera exposure run. 4 - Photolith text strip. "SO THIS IS IT, WE'RE GOING TO DIE !" as clear letters in solid black and Sellotaped onto 330 x 270 mm clear animation cell. This was used with a colour lighting gel and masked around with black card for another back lit camera exposure run. 5 - The 2 camera "dope sheets" covering this section of animation. |
