1 - Layout drawing by Rod Lord in Rotring pen on tracing paper fixed in place with masking tape onto 305 x 255 mm punched animation key paper.
2 - Rotring pen tracing by Rod Lord on clear 330 x 270 mm animation cell. This was used to contact expose in the darkroom onto photolith film to create clear lines on solid black. 3 - The photolith with clear lines on solid black made from item 2. This was registered to match the black on clear tracing by Sellotaping in place onto 330 x 270 mm animation cell. After 30 years the Sellotape has become brittle and lost its adhesion. I have not tried to repair anything. This was used with a colour lighting gel and masked around the sides with black card to back light under the rostrum camera. |
