1 - 2 x pencil drawings by Rod Lord on tracing paper which were layouts for Zaphod's body to add to the drawings of his head made from early photos of the actor.
2 - An animation of 17 photoliths attached to animation cells with Sellotape. These were camera artwork used to back light under the rostrum camera. This is the animation that starts with a close up of Zaphod's heads after he has turned from a single side view to front view. This animation zooms Zaphod away while drawing in the extra lines needed for the rest of his body. 3 - A photolith strip with the text "Zaphod Beeblebrox" used for back lighting under the rostrum camera. 4 - The camera "dope sheet" for this section of animation. |
